Cellphones emit RF EMR. The levels of the RF radiation are very strong next to the cellphone, but also a few feet away from it there are some levels of RF EMR. In this clips we will see the RF EMR levels 50 cm and 100 cm away from the phone.

The RF radiation levels drops as we move a way from the source, but in the case of 2G cellphone there are problematic levels of RF radiation even at 5 meters away from the device and sometimes even further away.

USA Senat hearing (edited) from earlier this year (2009) regarding the danger in the use of cell phone and the issue of warnings on Cell phone that they might harm your health.

In this hearing Dr Sigal Sedezki (IL) reports the finding of her study, which is part of the interphone study, that heavy cell phone use increases the chance of developing cancer on the same side of the head that the phone was used. Dr Davis (US) reported that the industry was using its power to hold back the reports of danger for year and years while continue to push for new devices, encouraging use and while expousing the public to real danger.

New video - Radiation from Bluetooth earpiece and Cell phone

Bluetooth devices are very cool, they allow you to use electronic gadgets like cell phones, Wii , and others without using cords and wires. But there is a down side, and yes you guessed it right. All Bluetooth devices emit Electromagnetic Radiation, some in bursts and some all the time and this movie will try to show you that radiation is being emitted from a Bluetooth earpiece and a cell phone while on standby mode. Radiation from ECO DECT Phone vs regulare DECT phone

In the clip there is a comparison between a regular DECT phone and an ECO DECT phone. Those two cordless phones types are different in the way they work. ECO DECT phone is designed to save electricity by not transmitting while in standby mode, while regular DECT phones transmit all the time even in standby mode. This fact is making a very big difference in the “radiation” aspect. DECT phones’ base stations radiate all the time while ECO DECT phones’ base stations radiates only during a conversation and several seconds after. While talking on the ECO DECT phone, both the base station and the handset emits radiation, radiation which you and your family are exposed to, there for I don’t recommend using any cordless phone for more than few minutes.

In some of the ECO DECT phones that are sold today, thק ECO mode needs to be setup and is available only if there is one headset configured.
