Yesterday I sent a letter to the new comity to the reform in the ISRAELI ELECTRIC COMPANY and the IL electric market. This comity will probably approve the deployment and use of wireless radiating so called smart meters in Israel. The letter is a personal letter that tells about my own experience as an EHS person and as an activist, along with facts about the smart meters deployment in USA & Canada , it's problems (safety, security, privacy and health risk) and about the health effect on parts of the public, specially on EHS people.
I hope it will encourage other activist and EHS people to send similar letters.

The letter is a 4 page document, in Hebrew so there is no use me attaching it here. In it I quote the 40 scientist letter ‘Smart ’Meters: Correcting the Gross Misinformation, the Ernst & Young report, the Maine Legislature’s Government Oversight Committee’ on smart meters, the WHO/IARC resolution about RF being a 2B carcinogenic to humans, The bioinitiative report, the IEEE Spectrum "Privacy on the Smart Grid" article, and the DEFCON 20 video "Looking Into The Eye Of The Meter"
and others.I hope it will encourage other activist and EHS people to send similar letters.
